STEWED PEAR VANILLA OATMEAL | AUTUMN IN A BOWL (GF + VG + HP)





Guys have you ever tried stewed pears? In The Netherlands it's a tradition to make this every fall šŸ‚ and stewed pears are so incredibly delicious! The spices, the sweetnesss, everything works together to make this amazing! How could I not combine it with one of my fav things on the planet? Aka porridge! So I present you, STEWED PEAR VANILLA OATMEAL!


šŸSTEWED PEAR VANILLA OATMEAL | AUTUMN IN A BOWL (GF + VG + HP)

Ingredients:

ā—¾ļø 50g gf rolled oats @myproteinnl

ā—¾ļø 1 tbsp chiaseeds

ā—¾ļø 200ml almond milk @alpro

ā—¾ļø 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

ā—¾ļø 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder* @greenpowders_nl

ā—¾ļø 150g stewed pears

ā—¾ļø 150g coconut yoghurt @abbotkinneys


toppings: dried mulberries, almond butter @koro_nl, blueberries, mandarin, dark chocolate


*sub for 20g oats + 1/2 tsp vanilla extract instead


šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ³Method

  1. Cook your oats, chiaseeds, almond milk, pumpkin pie spice on the stove until thick. Then add in a scoop of vanilla protein powder.

  2. Either make stewed pears yourself or be lazy like me and buy it in the supermarkets. Heat this up and then add it on top of the oatmeal together with the coconut yoghurt. Top it with the remaining ingredients!

  3. Enjoy!
