I was craving chocolate cookies so badly. Buuutttt I wanted to make it a little fancier by adding tiny pieces of date in there for fake caramel pieces! The protein powder makes it super high protein! And the almonds from @damhertnutrition are absolutely incredible! Organic & so big! Even though I chopped them, they were such a delicious addition!
🍪CHOCOLATE ALMOND COOKIES with FAKE CARAMEL PIECES | VG & GF & HP✨
❤Ingredients:
◾️ 80g vegan chocolate protein powder* @myproteinnl
◾️ 1 ripe banana (110g)
◾️ 1 tbsp raw cacao powder (20g) @koro_nl
◾️ 60g rolled oats @meesters_van_de_halm
◾️ 100g dates (mash 50g and chop up 50g) @koro_nl
◾️ 30g chopped almonds @damhertnutrition
◾️ 50g almond butter @myproteinnl
◾️ 1 pinch of salt
◾️ splash of oat milk
*sub for 60g almond flour + 20g cacao powder + 3 tbsp maple syrup
topping: almonds & optional a drizzle of syrup!
👩🏻🍳Method:
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Mash the banana and 50g of the dates, add in all the remaining ingredients to form the cookie dough. Then make cookie 🍪 shapes of them.
Add an almond in the middle and let them bake on 180C for about 15-20 minutes.
Let them cool and optional to serve with a drizzle of syrup if you want more sweetness!
